"Theatre
of Trash"
One man's trash is another man's
costume!
Participants will design and then create
original costumes and props out of items that could be considered by
some as trash. Actors/models will develop characters, scenes,
and even a runway show to model their unique creations. |
"Who's Behind the
Mask?"
Participants will design and construct a
self mask. Once all of the masks are painted and decorated, the
students will then develop unique characters based on their mask and
perform in assorted scenes and improvisations. |
"Party
with a Puppet"
(Beginning Puppetry)
Participants will be able to select
and create their very own puppets. Puppets options will
include: finger puppets, paper plate puppets, glove puppets, hand
puppets, or paper bag puppets. Our puppeteers will also work on
developing and presenting a puppet play.

"Fighting, Falling and Fun"
Participants will learn the art of choreographing stage faints,
falls, trips, etc., and safe stage fighting techniques and
choreography from street fighting to fencing, as well as creative
stage movement for all types of characters and roles.

"Pinocchio's
Extended Family!"
(Advanced Puppetry)
Participants will learn more about
the art of puppetry by creating more advanced puppets. The
puppet options to make will include: sock puppets, rod bottle
puppets, and marionettes. Our puppeteers will then develop and
present a puppet play.

A Camelot of Improv
Participants will participate in a wide variety of improvisational
games and activities. Come for the improvs, stay for the fun!

"Beyond
the Powder Puff!"
(Stage Make-up Techniques)
Have you ever wanted to know more
about the creative art of stage make-up? Here is your chance to find
out! Participants will be able to learn not only make-up safety but
also a variety of ways to apply theatrical make-up. Sessions
will include: Straight/Character
Make-up for the stage, Old Age, Fantasy and Animal Make-up. |
"Lip Sync'n"
The Best of Broadway
(Pre-Post Sessions)
Participants will lip sync their
"acts" to the "Best-of-Broadway" show tunes. (Music and Lyrics
will be provided!) |
