Special Fall 2021 Performance

All Together Now! is a global, one weekend-only fundraising event celebrating local theatre. Created by MTI, All Together Now! provides community theatres with an opportunity to produce and perform an EXCLUSIVE musical revue featuring songs from some of MTI's most beloved shows. 

ACT directors, staff, and production team members will be showcased in this fundraising event. Former ACT participants who are now adults are welcomed and encouraged to participate and will have the opportunity to showcase their talent once again on The ACT stage.

WHY IS THE ACT HAVING A FUNDRAISER? The ACT, along with most every theatre in the country, has experienced financial ramifications due to the pandemic. MTI has offered community theatres this opportunity to raise funds by providing this musical revue royalty-free. Your participation in or attendance at this event will help the ACT recoup lost funds, especially when you invite your friends and family to attend and share posts on your social media accounts. 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE AND HOW WILL THE SHOW BE CAST? This is an adult production. No auditions or callbacks will be held, as casting will be based on what we already know of each person. However, if your ability or vocal range has changed significantly and you would like to be considered for solo opportunities, please send in a video or mp3, preferably in the style of the song for which you wish to be considered, that showcases your development. Parts will be assigned on September 20, so we need your commitment by September 19.

WHEN ARE REHEARSALS? Rehearsals are scheduled on the Calendar linked above, but will depend on availability of the performers. A commitment to all rehearsals will not be required for this mostly concert-style revue. Instead, adults performers will be provided with materials to rehearse on their own and appointments for individual rehearsals will be available. Group numbers will be rehearsed and cleaned live and via Zoom. Choreography rehearsals have been scheduled for a few numbers and videos will be provided for those who wish to dance. A few songs will be performed show choir style. There will be some small and large group numbers, as well as solos and duets. The directing team will be casting the show, but will take your expressed personal interests into consideration.

DO I GET TO PICK WHAT I PERFORM? MTI has pre-selected song choices for the 15 available slots, and the directors have made selections from those options given, with the exception of two slots pending the interest of the performers who wish to participate. Solo opportunities are available for all participants; however, everyone who wishes to participate should plan to be included in the group numbers.
